We experience the very best of ancient Cairo, visit Memphis and Sakkara, and, naturally, we take a camel ride around the jaw-dropping beauty and history that are the Pyramids of Giza. Here, even the most cell-phone addicted teen will be inspired to snap the odd selfie to wow their Insta. fans, and the younger kids will be enthralled by the gory tales of mummification and golden death masks at the Egyptian museum.
Wildlife is always a hit—no matter what your age—and the rich flora and fauna on display at the Africa Safari Park certainly won’t disappoint. A trip to Alexandria will delight the history buffs and, don’t worry, we’ll be sampling excellent traditional foodstuffs throughout out tour. And while we do, of course, embrace the incredible ancient history on offer, we also ensure that we take a walk through the best of 21st century Egypt too, with visits to the ultra-modern Cairo Festival and Mall of Cairo.
The beach side city and resort of Sharm El Sheikh provides R&R and adventure in equal measures. We snorkel or dive the rich waters of the Red Sea to view what is probably the best display of sea life on the planet. There’s ample opportunity to have fun above the water as well, with parasailing, a visit to the famous dolphin show, and a thrilling 4X4 desert adventure.
